No grounds for compromise!

Have you ever found yourself in a position where you thought, “If l compromise the Word, the Lord will understand, after all He understands the tight situation. Friend, not true, for in Him is no Sin. No Sin means no sin 1 John 3:5  And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

The Lord stands by His Word at all times.

Remember in the garden where Jesus was betrayed. One of His disciples drew out a sword, to defend Jesus  Matthew 26 : 51And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest’s, and smote off his ear.  52Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword

What was the Lords response? The Lord did not say, “ O, I understand, after all he was only trying to defend me”, No, He said , Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

My friend, God is true, and in Him is no lie. The Lord rebuked His disciple for not obeying the Word under those conditions.

Next time you find yourself in a tight corner, perhaps ticking unemployed on a sheet will save you $5000, saying yes instead of no to a question will reduce your care insurance, the list goes on, do what is right. If need be, suffer for righteousness.  We are children of light. Lets walk as children of light.
