What’s your level of commitment?

Yes sad but true, Christians have varying levels of commitment to the Lord.

I was at a meeting recently and there were prophetic words for some people. One word got my attention the summary of the word for this person was ‘The Lord has allowed you to go through some difficult situations which has originated from Christians of lesser  consecration — ‘  That was not all the word but the phrase ‘ from Christians of lesser consecration’ got my attention.

Does this mean Christians have varying levels of consecration and commitment to the Lord? I think its very safe to say yes.

 Lets look at this scripture?

 Acts 15: 25 – 26

It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,

Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

New King James Version reads:

25 It seemed  good to us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, 26 men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul and Barnabas put there lives at risk for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was their level of commitment to our Lord what is yours?

Some Christians will not go to church if they don’t get the job. Some will stay in bed if it rains he list goes on.

Friends, the Lord as done so  much for us.

I ask again? What is your level of commitment to the Lord?
