What are you investing in?

Have you ever come across someone that over invested in their body? We all have, the result of such sometimes is ‘fat’.

In the UK the NHS are investing millions to help people loss weight are so are many other countries of the world.

Man is made of Spirit, Soul and body, and while they say that it is not healthy to be fat in your body, it is healthy to be fat in our Spirits and Souls.

Proverbs 13: 4

The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.

The word diligent means ‘ constant in effort to accomplish something; attentive and persistent in doing anything’  In other words it is an active word.

If you notice it is the soul that is made fat. This means that the person must have been diligent in what affects the soul. Are you diligent in investing in what affects the Soul? Are you diligent in investing in what affects your Sprit? Do you study your bible? Do you pray? Do you spend time with the Lord? Do you read good Christian books?

Secular TV shows are of no benefit to your Spirit. If we want to be strong in Spirit, we must invest in the food of the Sprit which is the Word of God?

Matthew 4: 3-4

3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

So l ask again, what are you investing in?
