What awaits the person called ‘a good man’.

The bible talks about ‘ a good man’. Isn’t it awesome to be called ‘a good man’ by the Lord? Lets have a closer look at this.

Psalm 37:23 – 24

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.

The steps, not journey of a good man are ordered by the Lord. Do you know what one mis-placed step could cause? When your steps are ordered of the Lord, you will be in the right place, at the right time, bump into the right person at the bus stop, railway station, petrol filling station because each step is ordered of the Lord. Perfect timing, only the Lord can help us be in the right place at the right time and to avoid mis-happenings.

Verse 24 speaks for itself.

Psalm 112:5-6

5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

This scripture speaks for itself.

Proverbs 12:2

A good man obtaineth favour of the Lord: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.

Obtaining favour of the Lord will get you to some great places and nothing else will.

Matthew 12:35

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

A good man has good treasure in his heart and will bring forth good things.

These are some of the benefits that await a’ good man’.

So what does it mean to be a ‘good man’. You will need to study the scriptures and do what it takes!
